Croatian born Sasha King is the founder and managing director of High Point Yachting. With a passion for working closely with each of her partners across the destinations they specialise in, having grown up sailing the Adriatic, she wanted to recreate the magical moments she experienced for others. Growing up in Croatia which has given her the love and knowledge which sets High Point Yachting apart, she moved to the UK in the late 1990s and establish the brand in 2000. It was at this time she was one of the very few companies that specialised in bespoke charters.
Sasha comments, "we’ve navigated an extraordinary time over the past year or so with widespread isolation. At High Point Yachting we’re dedicated to safely reuniting loved one’s whist providing a sense of gratitude and freedom once more. My team and I have been fortunate enough to sail these seas, their coasts and islands extensively. With this intimate knowledge, combined with access to a wide range of yachts, we are devoted to creating bespoke yachting experiences. Each of our destinations is incredibly beautiful with a variety of sights, food, wine, and people. We love them all and have so much to share."
High Point Yachting are proud to have a glorious fleet of yachts who go the extra mile every time. One of their leading yachts includes the 34 metres SAN LIMI: a shining light within the High Point Yachting sustainably conscious fleet. Accommodating up to eight guests in four en suite cabins with five crew, SAN LIMI is an incredible yacht that pioneers self-sufficient methods across the Croatian coastline to produce her own water and electricity with the use of on-board technology. Each guest who steps on board is also handed a complimentary SAN LIMI glass water bottle to coincide with their ongoing goal to maintain a minimum amount of plastic used on board. And with paper straws, environmentally sourced food and drink and eco-cleaning materials and toiletries used throughout – she’s one of our leading conscious charter options.
The crew onboard another of their favourite Croatian based yachts MALA has also done an incredible job in terms of their efforts on sustainability. At 17 metres for up to six guests, with three en suite cabins, and two crew members - MALA fills her sails whenever possible. The crew believe that it’s the little things that add up to truly make a difference; from installing solar panels and creating their own drinking water for all those on board, they are recycling advocates. Whether it’s food, plastic, paper or glass, in addition to handing guests glass water bottles, they use MALA cotton shopping bags and paper straws. Beyond this, they lead regular beach clean ups to ensure the beautiful Croatian bays they sail are maintained.
Price on request and are dependent on the date, destination and yacht. Crewed catamarans start from £10,000, £15,000 for gulets and £50,000+ for super yachts.
