For the first time this festive season, Johnnie Walker Blue Label has partnered with luxury audio brand Bang & Olufsen to create an exclusive, limited run of 100 gift sets. The gift set includes a 70cl bottle of Scotch whisky and Beoplay EQ adaptive noise cancelling wireless earphones to immerse yourself in pure sound. Delivering authentic audio whilst offering up to 20 hours of playtime.

Both Johnnie Walker and Bang & Olufsen are brands based on craftsmanship and heritage, with Bang & Olufsen, known for its innovative audio-based products, and Johnnie Walker as one of Scotland’s most pioneering whisky brands. For the many of its 96 years, Bang & Olufsen has worked with external designers, to create a range of products with a unique combination of beautiful sound, timeless design and unrivalled craftsmanship. These design experts bring a fresh eye to the industry and challenge the norms, in order to create unparalleled products. Meanwhile, for over two centuries Johnnie Walker has been committed to that same likeminded spirit of progress and moving forward.
The gift set will be officially launched on 1st December 2021 at Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge store in London with a live in conversation with Steven Bartlett, host of The Diary of a CEO, which is renowned as one of Europe’s most popular business podcasts. Uniquely, rather than him asking the questions, he will be interviewed by award winning drinks writer & presenter, Helena Nicklin. Steven will join Dragon’s Den in the next series as the youngest ever Dragon supporting small businesses and entrepreneurship inspiring the next generation of trailblazers to, in Johnnie Walker’s words, ‘Keep Walking’. This Johnnie Walker campaign inspires people around the world to take their next step towards a more positive future through the voices and thoughts of leading innovators.
Violeta Andreeva, Whisky Marketing Director at Diageo commented: “We are delighted to be partnering one of our rarest and finest whiskies, Johnnie Walker Blue Label, with the timeless and iconic lifestyle brand Bang & Olufsen, which shares our unabating pioneering spirit. It’s the perfect gift for someone who has everything. Johnnie Walker is committed to progress and innovation, as we all walk towards a more positive future now that the world opens up again after a challenging couple of years.”
David Morris, Head of Marketing & PR at Bang & Olufsen says: “Music has the power to take us places, to reflect on the past and create new memories. Pairing our finest ever wireless earphones, the Beoplay EQ with Johnnie Walker Blue Label is obvious - both deliver on the senses, employing artisan techniques to produce the end product without compromise. From construction that includes space craft grade aluminium, to reproducing a rich timbral variety of sounds, Beoplay EQ is the choice of the most decerning buyer who can silence the outside world with active noise cancellation. Paired with Johnnie Walker Blue Label, to immerse you in the moment without distraction. Moments to be savoured, memories to relive.”

Johnnie Walker Blue Label is an exquisite combination of Scotland’s rarest and most exceptional whiskies. The whisky is created using a selection of rare casks from the Speyside and Highland distilleries – including delicate Cardhu and Clynelish, warm, rounded Benrinnes, as well as Islay malts for the signature smokiness, and only one in every 10 thousand casks make the cut. Consumers experience a velvety smooth and vibrant whisky with layers of dried fruits and citrus smoke, evolving into honey, sweet spice and vanilla notes, followed by a long velvety chocolate and smoke finish. It is best served 50ml neat, along with ice-cold water to enhance its smooth and complex character.
Only 100 limited edition gift packs have been made available to Harvey Nichols exclusively at their Knightsbridge store, available to purchase in store from 29th November 2021, with 10 gift packs also available at malts.com from 5th December 2021 or pre order from 29th November 2021.
