Hotel Byblos in St Tropez launch new restaurant, Arcadia

Hotel Byblos is delighted to announce the opening of its brand new restaurant, Arcadia. As the hotel reopens for the new season, Executive Chef Rocco Seminara will unveil his carefully curated menu inspired by both sea and soil.

Arcadia will host up to 50 guests and the menu offers more than 20 dishes centered on the aromas and flavours from fresh Mediterranean produce.

The décor is inspired by the hotel’s fascination with Greek mythology, with new mosaics specially created by French artist L aetitia Leotard which portray the legend of Zeus’s kidnapping of Europe, which was the inspiration behind the restaurant’s name. The restaurant also features artwork from French artist Roger Capron.

The centrepiece of the restaurant is the olive wood ‘Chef’s Table’ which was custom made for Arcadia and seats eight guests. Furthermore, the open kitchen conveys a sense of intimacy for guests to feel fully immersed in the Arcadia dining experience.

Chef Rocco Seminara’s menu will reveal an authentic and contemporary combination of textures, colours and flavours, with a real focus on fresh local products. The culinary delights on the new menu include fresh lobster with green beans from the kitchen’s gardens, succulent lamb with roasted parsnips, and Provençal classics such as Bottarga.

Hotel Byblos’ new pastry chef, Yann Odic brings the perfect conclusion to a meal at Arcadia, with desserts that combine sweet and spicy from his delectable pastries.

The new restaurant also offers guests a unique experience of dining quite literally ‘in’ the pool – on a podium where Roger Capron’s “Jupiter” artwork is situated. Here, the chef will be presenting a range of surprise signature dishes which will be constantly changing throughout the season.

Also, look out for the Hotel Byblos St Tropez as it makes an appearance in Sky original ‘Riviera’. The third season launches later this autumn on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV. From Venice to St Tropez and Buenos Aires, this season transports the stars to various exotic locations – including the iconic Hotel Byblos, Saint Tropez as a glamorous backdrop for a couple of its episodes.
