Cygnet Gin, the luxury spirit hand-crafted in Wales, has launched its latest expression, Cygnet 77.  Founded by Katherine Jenkins OBE, the UK’s most successful classical singer and Andrew Levitas, artist and social-impact filmmaker, Cygnet 77 has made its global debut in an exclusive launch event at Harrods, where guests were invited to a discussion on Sustainable Luxury between Harrods MD Michael Ward & Cygnet CEO & Co-Founder Andrew Levitas. Commencing the period of exclusivity in Harrods, the luxury department store, this latest listing reflects the brand’s positioning and successful ascent following launch as the luxury spirit for the discerning consumer.

Since the brand's establishment in 2023, Cygnet has shifted the paradigm in gin, with a luxury collection that balances intention with indulgence, where less is more. Following the successful launch of Cygnet 22 (available across luxury on & off trade), the introduction of Cygnet 77 highlights the brand’s continued ambition to challenge conventions within the gin category. A bold expression of modern luxury, Cygnet 77 is designed to be enjoyed in its purest form, served neat over ice and elevates the classic martini.

Distilled and aged at the Copperworks Distillery in Wales, Cygnet 77 is a testament to thoughtful craftsmanship. Matured with Manuka Honey (the brand’s signature botanical) for over 12 months in specially selected Welsh whisky casks, this aging process allows the existing award-winning gin to absorb the warmth and spice of the oak, creating a refined blend of Cygnet Gin, Manuka honey, and whisky cask influence. The result is a decadent spirit with exceptional complexity, featuring layered notes of juniper, chamomile, and caramelised Manuka honey, perfectly complemented by the subtle, woody character of the barrels.

The tasting experience is enhanced by a soft, floral aroma that calls to mind blooming meadows and fresh spring blossoms. True to the brand’s award-winning profile, the finish is full-bodied and silky-smooth, with the lingering sweetness of Manuka honey delivering a rich and memorable sipping experience.

In line with the brand's stance as industry innovators of design and in keeping with Cygnet’s ethos of sustainability, the liquid is encased in the iconic Eirlys decanter. Award-winning hand-blown vessel crafted to reflect a perfect water droplet, reminiscent of the purest Welsh water used during the distillation process, and of Cygnet’s Welsh roots. With a lighter than industry average weight and designed for repurpose, the decanter is perfectly crafted to be reused over time as a decanter, vase or candlestick holder once the liquid has been enjoyed.

Reflecting evolution, Cygnet 77 has been named to symbolise a profound awakening, heightened intuition and a connection to inner wisdom; the perfect parallel to the meticulous refinement this spirit has undergone. As the number 77 relates to an embracing of transformation, Cygnet 77 is equally a spirit of enlightenment and luxurious discovery.

Cygnet 77 (priced at £129.00) is exclusively available at Harrods for a four-week period, launching on World Earth Day (22nd April).
